Yayr is a collaborative list management app that allows you to:
- Create and manage lists
- Share lists with other users
- Mark achievements and celebrate progress
- Sync across devices
- Access premium features (with subscription)
Free Features:
- Up to 3 lists
- Single-line notes
- Basic list sharing
- Standard colors
- Affiliate button visible
Yayr Pro (from £1.99/month):
- Unlimited lists
- Multi-line notes (add details and context)
- Premium color palette
- Hide affiliate button
Yayr Family (from £3.49/month):
- All Yayr Pro features
- Up to 6 family members
- Shared family lists
- Family achievement celebrations
3. Account Registration
Requirements:
- Valid email address
- Secure password
- Accurate information
Your Responsibilities:
- Keep password confidential
- Notify us of unauthorized access
- One account per person
- No sharing accounts
- Update email if it changes
We May:
- Suspend accounts with suspicious activity
- Require email verification
- Terminate duplicate or fake accounts
- Request identity verification for disputed accounts
4. User Content and Conduct
You Own Your Content:
- Lists, items, and notes belong to you
- We don't claim ownership
- You grant us license to store, display, and sync your content
You Must NOT:
- Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Spam or send unsolicited invites
- Attempt to hack, breach, or bypass security
- Use bots or automated tools
- Reverse engineer the App
- Resell or redistribute the App
We May:
- Remove content that violates Terms
- Suspend or terminate violating accounts
- Report illegal activity to authorities
- Refuse service to anyone
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Subscription Plans:
- Yayr Pro: from £1.99/month, auto-renewing
- Yayr Family: from £3.49/month, auto-renewing, up to 6 members
Payment Terms:
- Charged via Apple App Store or Google Play
- Auto-renewal unless cancelled 24 hours before period ends
- Cancel anytime in App Store/Play Store settings
- No refunds for partial months
Price Changes:
- We may change prices with 30 days notice
- Existing subscribers: Old price for 60 days
- Then automatically upgraded to new price
- Cancel before if you disagree
Free Trials:
- May offer free trials (duration specified in offer)
- Auto-convert to paid unless cancelled before end
- One free trial per user
- Must provide payment method
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation:
- Cancel anytime in App Store/Play Store settings
- Access until end of paid period
- No partial refunds
- Data retained for 30 days after cancellation
Refunds:
- Managed by Apple/Google per their policies
- Contact App Store/Play Store for refunds
- We don't process refunds directly
- Exceptions: Technical issues preventing use
Account Deletion:
- Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Cancels subscriptions automatically
- Data deleted within 30 days
- Cannot be undone
7. Intellectual Property
Our Rights:
- Yayr name, logo, and brand are our trademarks
- App code, design, and features are our property
- Protected by copyright and IP laws
Your Rights:
- Use App for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Share App with friends (via App Store/Play Store links)
You May NOT:
- Copy, modify, or redistribute App code
- Use our trademarks without permission
- Create derivative works
- Extract or scrape data systematically
8. Privacy and Data
Your Privacy:
- Governed by our Privacy Policy
- We collect minimal data
- We never sell your data
- You control your data (access, export, delete)
Data Security:
- Industry-standard encryption
- Regular security audits
- Immediate breach notification
Data Retention:
- Active accounts: Retained
- Deleted accounts: Removed within 30 days
- Backups: Purged within 90 days
9. Disclaimers and Limitations
Service "As Is":
- We provide App in current state
- No guarantee of uninterrupted access
- No guarantee of error-free operation
- Features may change or be discontinued
Not Liable For:
- Lost data (keep backups)
- Service interruptions
- Third-party actions (Apple, Google, Supabase)
- Incompatible devices
- User error or misuse
Limited Liability:
- Maximum liability: Amount you paid in past 12 months
- No liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- Some jurisdictions don't allow limitations (doesn't apply there)
10. Warranty Disclaimer
WE PROVIDE THE APP "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
NO WARRANTY:
- That App will meet your requirements
- That App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- That defects will be corrected
- That App is free of viruses or harmful components
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
(Some jurisdictions don't allow disclaimer of warranties. In those places, warranties limited to extent permitted by law.)
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gwinva Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or rights of others
- Content you upload or share
12. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law:
- UK law governs these Terms
- Disputes resolved in UK courts
- EU users: EU consumer protection laws apply
Informal Resolution:
- Contact support@yayr.app first
- We'll try to resolve within 30 days
- Most issues resolve informally
Arbitration (if required):
- UK arbitration rules
- Individual disputes only (no class action)
- Arbitrator decision is binding
- You may opt-out (email within 30 days of accepting Terms)
Exceptions to Arbitration:
- Small claims court (under £10,000)
- IP disputes
- Urgent injunctive relief
13. Termination
By You:
- Cancel subscription in App Store/Play Store
- Delete account in Settings
By Us:
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your account is inactive for 24+ months
- Required by law
- Protecting other users
- Preventing fraud or abuse
Effect of Termination:
- Access ends immediately
- Subscriptions cancelled (no refund)
- Data deleted within 30 days
- Outstanding payments still due
14. Changes to Terms
When We Update:
- 30 days notice via email
- In-app notification
- Updated "Last Updated" date
- Material changes highlighted in email
Your Options:
- Continue using = acceptance
- Disagree = cancel subscription and delete account before effective date
15. General Provisions
Severability: If any provision is invalid, others remain in effect
No Waiver: Our failure to enforce doesn't waive our rights
Assignment: We may assign these Terms (e.g., if sold). You cannot assign your account
Entire Agreement: These Terms + Privacy Policy = complete agreement. Supersedes all prior agreements
Survival: Sections that should survive termination do (IP, liability, disputes)
Force Majeure: Not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control

Apple App Store:
- Subject to Apple Media Services Terms
- Apple not responsible for App
- Apple not liable for claims
- Apple not involved in maintenance or support
Google Play Store:
- Subject to Google Play Terms of Service
- Google not responsible for App
- Google not party to these Terms
